2. Custom Solution: Softening the Black-and-White Space with Transparent Crystal
After receiving the staircase photos and site dimensions from the client, we first analyzed the ceiling height, black staircase structure, white wall surfaces, and main viewing angles.
The key feature of this staircase space is its clean lines and restrained color palette. Therefore, the chandelier could not be too visually heavy or complicated. Instead, it needed to enhance the space through transparency, vertical extension, and refined details.
We designed the chandelier as a cascading crystal waterfall, with delicate K9 crystal strands dropping naturally from the ceiling. The transparent crystal does not block the view of the space. Instead, it creates a clearer and more elegant outline against the black staircase background.
The butterfly decorations were arranged at staggered heights among the crystal strands. During the day, the crystals look clean and transparent under natural and indoor light. At night, when the LED light source is turned on, the crystal beads and butterfly facets reflect subtle blue, silver, and light golden tones, creating a refined luxury effect within the black-and-white interior.
The final design preserved the client’s modern minimalist style while adding a softer and more artistic atmosphere through crystal and butterfly details.
3. Production Process: K9 Crystal and Fine-Cut Butterflies for a Modern Interior
After the client confirmed the design proposal, we began the production process.
The main material of this chandelier is high-transparency K9 crystal. Its clear and bright appearance works especially well with black, white, gray, and metallic elements commonly used in modern interiors. When illuminated, the crystal creates a light, transparent, and clean visual effect.
Each crystal hanging strand was cut according to the custom staircase height and numbered based on the installation sequence. This ensures that the chandelier forms a natural vertical proportion after installation and fits the height and structure of the staircase space.
The butterfly parts are made with three-dimensional crystal cutting. From different angles, the butterfly wings reflect silver, blue, and light golden tones. These details are ideal for a modern luxury interior because they add decoration without looking overly complicated.
To match the client’s clean and refined interior style, we arranged the butterflies in a balanced but natural layout, making the chandelier look like a floating crystal art installation in the staircase space.
5. Final Effect: A Crystal Waterfall in a Black-and-White Interior
From the real installation photos provided by the client, the finished chandelier blends naturally with the modern staircase space.
The black staircase structure provides a strong and clean background for the transparent crystal, making every crystal strand and butterfly detail stand out clearly. The white walls enhance the reflection of the light, making the entire staircase atrium look brighter and more open.
The crystal strands fall from the ceiling and create a vertical sparkling waterfall effect. The three-dimensional butterflies are placed among the strands, as if flying freely through the black-and-white space, adding softness and romance to the calm minimalist interior.
From the upper floor, the crystal strands create a contrast with the geometric lines of the staircase. The staircase looks strong and architectural, while the crystal chandelier feels light and transparent. The black structure feels stable, while the crystal reflections feel dynamic and elegant.
