DESCRIPTION
A statement chandelier in the language of contemporary American studio lighting — graceful arched metal arms support draping pearl chains of hand-cut Spanish alabaster, evoking the timeless silhouette of a string of pearls suspended in air. Each bead is solid Aragón alabaster, drilled and strung onto integrated LED light strips that run through the interior of the pearl chains, so the entire garland glows uniformly from within when lit, making the alabaster the light source itself.
The composition reads as wearable jewelry scaled up into architecture: two clean arched lines, three swagged pearl strands, soft uniform glow throughout. Each piece is hand-cut from natural Aragón alabaster, so cloud-like veining patterns and color depth vary pearl to pearl and fixture to fixture. Suited to formal dining rooms, foyer entries, primary bedrooms, kitchen islands, luxury hotel suites, and gallery spaces in modern, transitional, contemporary-classical, and warm-organic interiors — particularly for design-savvy clients drawn to the alabaster-pearl aesthetic of contemporary studio lighting.
