DESCRIPTION

The Obra Coffee Table brings expressive burl wood and weathered metal together in a low rectangular design. Salvaged milpa burl is sliced and carefully arranged around a base constructed from steel and hardwood, creating a surface defined by organic pattern and the character of the material. Two widths allow you to choose proportions that complement your seating arrangement. Sunbleached Milpa pairs lighter wood with a dark grey steel base for an organic, weathered look. Cafe Milpa combines hand-stained wood with a warm, coppery steel base for a richer tonal effect. The steel develops its patina through natural oxidation, producing stains and speckles before it is hand finished with a protective polyurethane coating. Natural variations in color, grain, pattern, shape, and texture make each artisan-crafted piece individual.
